Lavazza Education Zone at Coffee Europe Expo 2026

At this year’s Coffee Europe Expo, Lavazza invites visitors to a unique Education Zone — a space designed for HoReCa professionals, baristas, café owners, restaurateurs, quality managers, and anyone eager to gain a deeper understanding of the modern world of coffee.Throughout the three-day expo, the Lavazza stand will feature an educational stage hosting experts from various sectors of the gastronomy and coffee industries. The program includes talks paired with tastings, practical demonstrations, and discussions covering quality, technology, equipment, water, sensory analysis, the barista’s craft, and the latest industry trends.

The Lavazza Education Zone will showcase coffee from multiple perspectives—ranging from raw beans, sensory profiles, and preparation methods to automatic and traditional espresso machines, water filtration systems, and the use of coffee in cocktails and modern gastronomy.The project is being developed in collaboration with Adrian Matuszewski, winner of the Lavazza Barista Challenge, who is helping to shape the educational content and activity concepts. A key aspect of Lavazza’s presence at the expo will also be the promotion of the upcoming Lavazza Barista Challenge semi-finals and finals.

One of the expo days will feature a special challenge for participants, with the winner securing a "wild card" entry to the Lavazza Barista Challenge semi-finals. This is a unique opportunity to test one's skills, showcase talent to the industry, and embark on the journey toward competing in one of Lavazza’s premier barista competitions. The Lavazza Education Zone is a space for knowledge, inspiration, and tasting—a place where the brand, experts, and trade fair participants come together to discuss the future of coffee in the foodservice industry.

 During all trade fair days, the OSSKIC booth will host demonstrations and seminars led by a qualified barista. At each demonstration, you'll have the opportunity to sample the coffee prepared during the demonstrations. Demonstrations and tastings will take place on all three days of the fair.
